Jules Barker

Bio:

Jules Barker is a an Associate Partner in McKinsey’s Real Estate Team, based in London.

Jules joined McKinsey in October 2023 and is an expert in Real Estate technology and digitisation. Before McKinsey, Jules has worked both in PropTech, creating products for building developers, owners and operators, and in one of Europe’s largest REITs, where he set and implemented the strategy for using technology to make the portfolio more sustainable, efficient and experiential. Before this he worked in another global consultancy, in the oil and gas industry, and as a tank commander in the British Army.

Jules is fascinated by the changes technology is driving across the world and is a great believer that tech can change our world for the better, if we manage not to destroy ourselves with it first.

He holds a masters degree from Trinity College, Cambridge and is MRICS qualified
